Last month in this space, we celebrated all the variety that the top of the basketball card market brought to the Thanksgiving table.

There were a whopping 18 players who appeared more than once on our list of the top-selling cards on eBay during November, and they were spread across decades.And there were several cards in that top tier from the 1980s and 1990s that did not picture Michael Jordan.

So would that trend hold in December, or would the market’s Christmas offerings slide back into more boring territory.
