Last month, we saw a pretty balanced attack at the top of our makeshift leaderboard of the football card market for May of 2025. In particular, Jayden Daniels topped all comers, edging out Tom Brady and Patrick Mahomes — but none of them showed up as many as 15 times.

That left plenty of room for other names to make some hay, and we saw both multiple appearances from legends like Peyton Manning and Johnny Unitas and a slew of one-offs — Drew Brees, Randy Moss, Jerry Rice, etc.

So, with NFL OTAs starting to generate some current-player news in June, would the market stay wide open, or would some youngsters — or even veterans — grab enough headlines to make a difference in the hobby?
