Last month when we met in this space to talk about football card sales for May of 2024, we saw that the offseason lull in current-player news opened up the market for some unusual vintage cards to push towards the top.

The result was a blunted showing for our usual leaders. Guys like Patrick Mahomes and Tom Brady still topped the list, but their cards weren’t quite as active in May as they had been in the months before.

Would that trend hold in June as the temperatures warmed up and we moved closer to NFL training camps?
