Last month, we saw Connor McDavid tumble from the top of our cardboard “standings” all the way to third, behind Wayne Gretzkly and Connor Bedard. He wasn’t too awful far ahead of Alex Ovechkin, either.

So, what would another (mostly) summer month with no NHL season bring at the top of the hockey card market? Would McDavid reclaim his throne? Or would Bedard take aim at Gretzky’s number-one perch? Or would there be some surprises along the way?
