June of 2023 was a big month in the hockey world.

First, we saw the Vegas Golden Knights take down the Florida Panthers in 5 games to sort of ruin the image of the NHL as a tundra-bound game (other than the actual rink, of course).

And then we saw a draft that featured one of the most ballyhooed prospects to ever slice the ice.

So, how would the card market react?

Well, as we saw last month, the Knights didn’t move the cardboard needle much, and the hobby settled into its summer lull.

But did the end-of-june draft heat things up at all for July?
