Last month, we saw the 2020s continue to dominate our rundown of the most expensive raw baseball cards sold on eBay during April of 2026, more than lapping the field yet again. Even the 2010s couldn’t hold their ground, dropping to just seven listings, down from 22 the month before.

Meanwhile, the twentieth century had a weak showing again, but it was at least an interesting showing — one card each from the 1900s, 1910s, and 1990s, along with two from the 1940s … and none from any of the other decades, including the 1950s or 1960s, usually pretty strong representatives of the 100-year block.

But what about May? With the season passing the one-quarter mark and teams starting to sort themselves into contender or pretender buckets, did on-field news make the 2020s even more dominant than usual? Or did some older cards manage to push back into the limelight?

And were any breakout players able to break in to the top of our standings?
