Last month we saw cards from the last half of the 20th century continue to make a relatively strong showing among the most expensive raw (ungraded) sales on eBay.
The 2020s still dominated those listings for June sales, of course, but the 1950s continued to make noises like they could play with the big boys of recent issues. Even the 1970s, 1980s, and 1990s made a bit of their own noise.
So, could the “old” stuff hold ground during July, when baseball’s best current players made noise during the All-Star break and teams got themselves ready for the playoff run in the dog days of August and September?
