Last month, we saw Walter Payton continue to play with the current crop of quarterbacks among the top football cards sold on eBay (in July, in that case). That continued a multi-month run for Sweetness — mighty impressive for a guy who’s been retired for more than 35 years.

At the top of our “standings” last month, Patrick Mahomes showed up more times than any other player, with C.J. Stroud still hot on his trail. With NFL training camps winding down in August, would Payton be able to stay on our list?

Would Mahomes widen his lead? Would new names pop up?
