Last month in this space, we saw the top of the hockey card market dominated by current players — plus Wayne Gretzky, of course — as the NHL season got underway.

All of that new cardboard pushed the usual run of tasty vintage ice cards to the side, at least for the moment.

So, would that trend hold for another month, or would the oldsters mount a comeback?
