Most Expensive Raw Baseball Cards Sold on eBay in January 2024

Last month, we saw the top of the raw card market return to its more “normal” state, with the 2020s dominating the listings of most expensive baseball cards sold on eBay during December of 2023.

That came on the heels of a surprise bump in 20th century cards in November.

At the end of last month’s piece, I pondered whether the new class of Hall of Famers would play into the big-sales number for January. Would Gary Sheffield, for example, manage to squeeze a card or set from 1989 or the 1990s onto our leaderboard?

Well, as it turned out, Sheff didn’t make the cut, and *spoiler* alert, none of the actual electees — Adrian Beltre, Todd Helton, Joe Mauer — made any ripples at the high end of the raw-card market last month.
